FAQ Section
Q: How fast can you start?
A: Most clients can get started within 3–7 business days, depending on how quickly we receive your forms/checklist and your current hiring volume.
Q: What do you need from us to begin?
A: We’ll need your main point of contact, your approved onboarding forms/checklist (or your current process), your start dates and new-hire details, and the list of authorized contacts who should receive updates. We’ll also confirm your drug testing requirements and where results/confirmations should be sent.
Q: How quickly can drug tests be scheduled?
A: Timing depends on the candidate’s location and availability, but we can usually schedule tests quickly through our partner, US Drug Test Centers. We’ll send the candidate clear instructions and keep you updated on scheduling and completion status.
Q: Who receives drug test results?
A: Results are routed to your designated authorized recipient based on your instructions and process.
Q: Do you store drug test results?
A: We focus on coordination and status tracking. If results must be stored, we follow your secure process and limit access.
Q: Do you complete or “sign off” on the I-9?
A: No. We can coordinate your I-9 workflow by sending reminders, tracking status, and confirming what’s still needed using your checklist. The employer (or authorized representative) remains responsible for completing Section 2, final review, attestation, and all compliance decisions.
Q: Do you offer E-Verify?
A: Not at this time. We may add it later for clients who require it.
Q: What exactly do you do—and what don’t you do?
A: We handle new-hire readiness coordination and drug test scheduling with clear status updates. We don’t provide legal advice, make compliance decisions, or require access to your payroll/HR system.
Q: Do you perform the drug tests?
A: Testing is completed through our partner network (US Drug Test Centers) or your preferred lab/TPA. HLS manages coordination, tracking, and status reporting.
Q: Do you act as our TPA (Third-Party Administrator)?
A: No—we don’t serve as a formal TPA. We coordinate and track the process. If you already have a TPA or HR partner, we’ll work within their workflow. If you don’t, we can coordinate drug testing through our partner, US Drug Test Centers, and keep you updated.
